We have a new fully automated hematology line XR-9000
The Department of Clinical Haematology, Biochemistry and Immunology (OKBHI) at Na Homolce Hospital boasts a new state-of-the-art XR-9000 haematology line, tailored to the needs of the laboratory, which will enable it to test a larger number of blood samples in less time.
Today's laboratories need fast, accurate and fully automated analysers to meet the demands of ever-increasing sample volumes and to make efficient use of laboratory technicians. These are exactly the advantages offered by the new line purchased by the Hospital Na Homolce for the OKBHI laboratories. It is a modular system based on two haematology analysers. Both analysers are equipped with a mode for measuring blood count parameters including reticulocytes (young nucleus-free red blood cells), body fluids and immature platelet fraction. The line also includes a fully integrated automated machine that performs its own slide coating and staining for accurate morphological analysis in another module of the line for digital morphology. The entire system is controlled by a dedicated Extended-IPU middleware that provides intelligent management of analyses, orders and laboratory data. In addition to hematological parameters, it also helps, for example, with quick and early identification of incipient infections. The main advantage of this state-of-the-art system is its reliability and safety. Thanks to special software, remote access technicians check that the instrument is working properly and resolve any problems remotely. The line is designed for a wide variety of spatial conditions. Thanks to the modular system, the line can be supplemented with additional analysis modules.
