Peter Niederle Cardiology Day 2023
The Association of Outpatient Cardiologists of the Czech Republic, the Cardiocentrum Nemocnice Na Homolce, the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic and the State Institute for Drug Control in cooperation with the Czech Medical Chamber are organising the 14th edition of the Peter Niederle Cardiology Day at the Clarion Clongress Hotel.
Several hundred experts from all over the Czech Republic participate in this educational event every year: cardiologists, outpatient specialists, payers and regulators.
The expert guarantor of the event is Prof. Petr Neužil, Head of the Cardiology Department of Na Homolce Hospital, who also chairs the arrhythmology block.
The meeting is held in memory of the leading Czech cardiologist Prof. Petr Niederle, a pioneer of Czech echocardiography and a long-time head of the Cardiology Department of Na Homolce Hospital.
The aim of the one-day event is to convey new experience and knowledge about pharmacotherapy, invasive treatment methods and technologies in cardiology and cardiac surgery and also to highlight the need for close cooperation between inpatient care and outpatient practice.
Cardiologists from Na Homolce Hospital will present their experience in innovative methods of pulsed field ablation, cardioneuroablation or pacing treatment of heart failure.
In the afternoon session, the main topic of our cardiac surgeons will be presented - minimally invasive approaches in the treatment of valvular defects. Traditionally, the expert programme will be complemented by an extensive discussion, and the legislative aspects of cardiological care will also be discussed.
