About us

The department specializes in diagnostics and surgical treatment in the fields of general surgery, orthopedics and urology.

The Surgical Unit treats diseases of the digestive system, including oncological conditions and performs resections, the Orthopedic Unit performs total joint replacements, including shoulder and ankle joints and traumatological interventions and the Urology Unit performs operations on the kidneys and the urinary system.

The Department is dedicated to performing minimally invasive or laparoscopic (endoscopic) surgery in all three areas referred to above.  We have 31 beds, occupied by over two thousand inpatients each year, with treatment taking an average of 4.5 days.  More than forty thousand outpatients are treated here every year.
