About us

The Rehabilitation and Rheumatology Department at Na Homolce Hospital is a modern facility providing comprehensive treatment.

We provide physiotherapy to inpatients from the hospital's specialized departments as well as those patients who arrive at our outpatient clinic from all over the country.  We work closely with the Departments of neurology and neurosurgery within the framework of the neuroprogram.

New neurosurgical procedures have also led to an expansion in physiotherapy care for patients requiring technical assistance (orthopedic-prosthetic).  On the instructions of the physiotherapists, top prosthetic producers provide suitable prostheses for patients who have undergone surgery as well as for those on whom operations cannot be performed.  Within the framework of the cardiology program, we provide care for patients from the departments of cardiology, cardiac surgery and vascular surgery.  The department's outpatient care is based on personal access to the patient.  We obviously consult with the physician, who will prescribe the best treatment available based on the examinations that have been performed.  Physiotherapists, R-Centrum staff, masseurs and other medical personnel also care for the patient alongside the physician.
