Its state-of-the-art equipment allows the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology and Immunology to offer a complete spectrum of tests covering both routine and specialized biochemical, hematological and coagulation analyses, the analysis of humoral and cellular immunity, cytological, spectrophotometrical and biochemical analyses of cerebrospinal fluid, screening for drug levels and providing related pharmacokinetic reports and analyses in the area of molecular genetics.

An important clinical element of the department's work is provided by an outpatient center specializing in the analysis of anomalies in the metabolism of lipids and lipoproteins, outpatient hematology and neurology services and an outpatient unit for immunology and allergology.
