About us
The Na Homolce Hospital Department of Cardiac Surgery was created on its separation from the Department of Vascular Surgery in March 2002.
We provide specialized care for patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases, performing a complete range of cardiosurgical interventions, with the exception of heart transplants.
The department has been totally renovated and enlarged and now has a total of 37 beds - a post-operative intensive care and reanimation unit with 10 beds, an intermediary care unit with 13 beds and a standard ward with 14 beds. The department also has 2 operating theaters. The outpatient clinic consists of an admissions and outpatient surgical clinic and a specialized cardiology outpatients clinic, which also has an ECG laboratory. We treat patients from throughout the Czech Republic.
